Misconduct by Solicitors and Barristers

Solicitors and Barristers provide a SERVICE to a CUSTOMER. Like any service provider there needs to be Quality assurance and disciplinary procedures to ensure that the customer is provided with a high standard of professionalism.

What about the legal Profession. Sure they’re the ones you turn to when you seek to vindicate your rights. What happens when your own legal representative fails you. Who can you turn to.
In the film “Enemy of the State” the main character’s (Will Smith) wife blurts out near the end:- “Who will Monitor the Monitor of the Monitors?”

See some of the material across, giving some insight into the means of redress. Unfortunately Self regulation by the legal profession is almost toothless, as underpinned by the recent media reports of Eamon Condon’s (independent Adjudicator of the Law Society) states.

PLEASE NOTE:- If your solicitor and/or barrister behaves unprofessionally when acting for you in a Family Court, you CANNOT complain to ANYONE. There is absolutely no means of redress.
This amounts to IMMUNITY for Family Law Solicitors and Barristers.
