FATHERS RIGHTS CAMPAIGNER TO CONTEST MEATH BYE ELECTION

Mr. Liam Ó Gógaín the Fathers rights campaigner launched his election campaign today 21st February in Navan Co. Meath. Speaking this afternoon in Navan the rights campaigner said that the political parties and independents over the years have failed Fathers, Grandparents and Children in ignoring their plight by the systemic abuse of their human rights.

“The abject failure of the political system to adequately address these most fundamental of human rights has led to much hurt and distress among separated families in the past number of years” said Mr. Ó Gógaín. He has pledged to redress the imbalance if elected in the Meath constituency and has listed a number of other issues which he has outlined on his web site at www.liamog.com .

Mr. Ó Gógaín was a candidate in last years European election and previously in the General election of 2002 for the Dail and the Seanad.
